Description

Parisot Industrie, a French manufacturer of kit furniture, announced the permanent closure of its Mattaincourt plant in the Vosges region, resulting in 124 job cuts. The decision follows a sharp decline in demand and a €6.5-million loss for 2025, with management citing the need to safeguard remaining operations.

Employees’ representatives voiced their concerns and requested the Ministry of Industry to intervene, but no negotiations have yet begun.

Parisot Industrie was founded in 1936 and has entered judicial recovery since June 2026; the plant’s shutdown will take effect on 31 July 2026.

Previously in the ERM Database, Parisot was already mentioned in 2019, in a similar situation of job cuts Parisot 2019 - FR.
