Description
Chanel, a French luxury house, announced the inauguration of a new fragrance production plant in Venette, Oise, creating roughly 300 jobs.
The 30 000 m² site consolidates all stages of perfume manufacture—production, conditioning, storage and administrative services—within the Bois-de-Plaisance economic park.
This expansion follows a 2022 plan to meet growing global demand for Chanel fragrances, such as N°5, Chance and Bleu. The new hub complements existing facilities in Compiègne and a maquillage site, reinforcing Chanel’s strategy of manufacturing in France to ensure quality control and support regional employment.
