Description
Valeo Electric and Electronic Systems, part of the French automotive technology group Valeo, announced the transformation of its Czechowice-Dziedzice site into a key European R&D centre for electromobility. The company has started the recruitment process and plans to recruit more than 100 highly qualified engineers, who will join the existing local R&D team of around 200 engineers. Some of the positions recruted are for Design Engineer (CAD, CATIA, NX), Technical Product Lead, System Engineer, Test and Validation Engineer (electrical, high-voltage, low-voltage, and hydraulic systems), Simulation Engineer (CAE/FEM) and Prototype Engineer.
The new centre will focus on high-voltage electric drives, including HV eAxle and eMotor systems, hydraulic pumps and smart actuators for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The restructuring is part of Valeo’s strategy to consolidate specialist knowledge and development projects in selected European sites, with some projects transferred from other European locations, including Germany.
