European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Danfoss Poland, a maker of components for climate control, part of the Danish engineering group Danfoss, announced the creation of around 500 jobs at its new production and logistics facility in Tuchom, near Gdańsk. Recruitment for the new positions has already started. The expansion is linked to increasing production capacity for heat exchangers and heat distribution units used in heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic hot water systems.
Danfoss has operated in Tuchom for more than a decade. The 22,500 sqm build-to-own facility, developed by Panattoni, will include production, warehouse, office and social areas.
