European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
DRÄXLMAIER Group România, a German automotive components manufacturer, announced the creation of 600 new production operator positions at its Satu Mare plant.
The expansion reflects the company’s investment in expanding local manufacturing capacity and provides fresh employment opportunities for residents of the city. Recruitment began on 29 June 2026 with ongoing application windows, aiming to fill all vacancies promptly.
The initiative is driven by strategic growth to support regional economic development and strengthen the firm’s supply chain presence in Romania.
Currently, the Satu Mare plant has a workforce of 1,880 persons.
