Description
Sameday, an Austrian logistics firm, announced the withdrawal of its Hungarian operations, which will result in the closure of its Hungarian subsidiary "Delivery Solutions". The closure will terminate all local staff and and cease the local operation infrastructure. The company’s package-delivery network, including "Easybox", will leave the Hungarian market.
The move follows regulatory obstacles that prevented Express One, a subsidiary of Austrian Post, from acquiring the Hungarian unit. The shutdown may be related to domestic investment rules.
In January 2026, the firm was reported to employ 230 people.
