Description
Château Blanc, a French bakery group under the Holder umbrella, announced the closure of its Marcq-en-Baroeul factory, threatening up to 220 jobs.
The plant, which mainly serves external customers and operates at 37 % capacity, will cease operations as part of a plan to consolidate its remaining sites in La Madeleine and Tilloy-lès-Mofflaines.
The company is implementing a PSE (plan de sauvegarde de l’emploi) to protect affected employees and maximize reclassification opportunities. While the exact closure date remains to be determined, the social plan signals a structured approach to mitigate job losses.
