Description
Permag, a US-based manufacturing company, has announced that it will create 120 new jobs by establishing its European headquarters and a magnet production facility in Korntal‑Münchingen, Baden‑Württemberg, Germany. The jobs are expected to be created in autumn 2026. The 120 positions will include engineers as well as production staff.
The investment is driven by the company’s aim to shorten supply chains and benefit from the region’s skilled workforce, while better serving European customers in sectors such as semiconductors, medical technology and aerospace.
Permag’s decision to locate in Germany reflects the country’s attractiveness to international investors and the availability of a strong talent pool, positioning the company for long-term growth in the high-tech magnet market.
Permag employs more than 500 people.
