European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Conad Centro Nord, an Italian cooperative in the retail sector, announced a plan to create roughly 1,100 jobs between 2026 and 2028 across its network of 332 stores. The expansion is driven by an investment of €382.5 million to modernise stores, strengthen services, and promote employment, reflecting the cooperative’s commitment to sustainable growth in the region. Jobs will be created at 25 new openings in provinces such as Bergamo, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Brescia, Piacenza, Pavia, Milano, and Cremona, and through refurbishment of existing stores. With 7,024 collaborators, the program is set to conclude on 31 December 2028.
