Description

Randstad, a Dutch HR group, announced the creation of more than 3,000 jobs in the aeronautics and defence sector in France. The hiring will take place across the entire French territory, with 700 positions in Occitanie, 500 in Pays de la Loire and Île de France, and 300 in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

The recruitment drive is supported by record order books in the aerospace and defence industries, reflecting increased demand linked to the current geopolitical context and higher defence spending. According to Randstad, the sector is facing a shortage of more than 10,000 workers, while an ageing workforce is expected to intensify recruitment needs, with around 30% of employees projected to retire by 2030.

The positions include both blue-collar and white-collar occupations, such as welders, mechanics, aircraft fitters, electricians, quality inspectors and engineers.The more than 3,000 job openings are distributed throughout France. Recruitment will be rolled out gradually across the regions, and Randstad plans to support hiring through investment in professional training to help address skills shortages.
