Description
TKG Automotive Czechia, Czech automotive components manufacturer has announced the creation of more than 200 new jobs at its new production plant in Kolín. The plant, scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2027, will focus on the production of stamped and welded sheet metal parts for the automotive industry.
The reason for building the new plant is the company’s expansion. Production will combine Industry 4.0 elements, such as digitization and smart operations management, with sustainable manufacturing practices, including maximizing energy efficiency through LED lighting, an on-site photovoltaic power plant, a rainwater harvesting system, and other technologies.
The 200 jobs created will be in the areas of production, technical, engineering, and management positions. The company plans to provide professional training for employees, for example, on topics such as digitization and the use of AI in manufacturing.
