Description

Liebherr France, a subsidiary of the German Liebherr Group, plans to create 200 jobs at its Colmar production plant in Alsace by 2026. This expansion forms part of a €90 million investment aimed at scaling up motor production for data centre applications. The investment is driven by the growing demand for reliable backup power solutions in the digital economy, as well as the company's commitment to enhancing energy efficiency at its site. The new facility will incorporate modern, low-energy technologies, reflecting a focus on the green transition. All 200 new positions will be based at the Colmar plant.

Several large-scale restructurings have been recorded in the ERM database, with the latest in 2026 Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse 2026 - FR.
