European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Airbus, a European aerospace group, announced the creation of Skywise, a digital platform for the aviation industry, which will employ about 750 staff across Canada, France, India, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States. The Skywise a new subsidiary company resulting of the merge of NavBlue and Skywise fusion.
The expansion is set to commence shortly after the announcement in April 2026 and will continue through the coming months. This move is driven by Airbus’s ambition to offer integrated cloud-based services for flight operations, maintenance and performance analysis. The new subsidiary will bring together IT, data-analytics and aviation-software functions under one umbrella, creating new roles across the eight countries listed above.
