European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ziegler, a Belgian logistics subsidiary of the Ziegler Group, announced the cessation of its Belgian operations, resulting in the loss of approximately 400 jobs across its Brucargo and Aalst sites. The company, operating in the logistics sector, will see its workforce cut by the end of the announced bankruptcy proceedings.
The job losses are expected to affect the entire workforce. Ziegler employs roughly 400 people in Belgium and is part of the larger Ziegler Group, which operates logistics services across Europe.
