Description
Autotehnorom, a Romanian civil-engineering firm, announced the dismissal of 150 employees (out of 170) at its Suceava site. All job cuts occur in Suceava; 150 direct dismissals are planned to take effect by the end of June 2026
The layoffs are part of a collective dismissal triggered by the company’s insolvency and severe liquidity challenges. The restructuring is driven by financial difficulties, litigation with local authorities, and high material costs. The company will rely on subcontractors to continue its ongoing road projects, including the new road to Suceava Airport.
Autotehnorom notified the local workforce representatives (AJOFM Suceava and ITM Suceava) as required by law.
