Description
The Magnum Ice Cream company, a global ice-cream leader, announced the opening of a new shared-services centre in Bucharest that will create 200 jobs. The expansion will begin in early 2026 and will add to the 300 employees already working at the Betty Ice plant in Suceava. All 200 new positions are based in Bucharest, and the company will retain its existing operations in Suceava and other countries.
The centre, located on a 2,000-square-metre floor of Globalworth Square, will support the company’s operations in Romania.
The move is driven by the company’s strategy to strengthen its operational efficiency in Romania following its recent de-merger from Unilever.
The Magnum Ice Cream Company employs around 19,000 people worldwide and is listed on the Amsterdam exchange with a market value of €7.8 billion.
