Description
ebm-papst Romania, a subsidiary of the German motor and fan maker group ebm-papst, opened a new production unit in Industrial Park II, Oradea. The company will create 500 jobs in production, R&D, engineering, IT, procurement and finance over the next five years. The expansion follows the "Local for Local" strategy and a commitment to sustainability, featuring a 720-panel photovoltaic system, green roof, and modern building management technologies, supporting the green transition.
Job creation will be concentrated in Oradea, where the 19,200 square meters facility houses 4,100 square meters of production space, an R&D centre, a services centre and administrative offices. The unit opened in June 2026 and is expected to reach its employment target by 30 June 2031.
