The Valencian health service, a Spanish regional public health body of the Valencian Community, has is creating 630 new positions in mental health, following a public employment offer from 2025.
These posts, covering psychiatry, clinical psychology, and mental health nursing, represent a 59 % increase over the start of the legislative term. The expansion will take place across the Valencian Community. The initiative responds to the identified structural demand for mental-health human resources, identified as a strategic priority for 2026, and aims to strengthen the region’s public health system.
