Description
Redis, a private technology company specialising in in-memory data platforms, expanded its engineering centre in Sofia by opening additional office space in Sofia Tech Park. The new office adds capacity for more than 100 employees and supports the company's continued growth in Bulgaria. According to the company, the Sofia team is expected to grow to around 250 specialists. All new positions are located at the engineering centre in Sofia.
The expansion is part of Redis’ broader strategy to build sustainable research and development teams in locations with a strong concentration of highly qualified engineering talent. The company cited Sofia’s technological expertise, European Union membership and rapidly developing technology ecosystem as key reasons for increasing its investment in Bulgaria.
In September 2025, the company moved into a purpose-built office in the same building.
