European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
GXO, is an American contract logistics and e-commerce company, which has announced the creation of 500 jobs in Montereau-sur-le-Jard by the end of 2026. The recruitment will take place in its Zalando site in Seine-et-Marne. Indeed, GXO is specialised in managing outsourced supply chains and warehousing. This is part of a larger recruitment effort in France. The company predicts it will recruit 1,000 workers by the end of 2027.
The expansion reflects GXO’s strategy to support Zalando’s growing logistics network and strengthen digital fulfilment capabilities, as well as to assist with the automation of the site. The announcement has come within the context of the Choose France Summit.
Two large-scale restructurings have been recorded in the ERM database, with the latest in GXO Logistics 2025 - FR.
