Description
Dachser, a German logistics service provider, announced the construction of a new logistics facility in Memmingen, which will create 90 additional jobs. The expansion is scheduled for completion by mid-2027.
The expansion aims to strengthen the company’s role in global supply chains. The new site will feature a fully automated high-bay warehouse, more handling and storage space as well as additional office space. The project will incorporate digital twins for automated packaging detection, advanced network standards, and a photovoltaic system on the roof.
Dachser currently has around 810 employees at the Allgäu logistics center, and by mid 2027 the number is expected to increase to up to 900.
Previous internal restructurings recorded in the ERM database date back to March 2026, when 130 jobs were created
