Description
La Redoute, a French e-commerce retailer, announced the elimination of 138 job positions in France and 33 job positions abroad, in total 171 job cuts. In this restructuring, there will be also the creation of 29 new roles as part of a digital transformation plan led by CEO Béatrice Héricourt.
The restructuring aims to adapt the company to a rapidly evolving online market, strengthen operational excellence, and support a shift toward a “pure player” lifestyle platform, with emphasis on technology, AI and personalized customer experience. The plan prioritises internal redeployment and voluntary mobility, and will take effect following the announcement.
