Description
Okaïdi, a French clothing brand specialising in apparel for children, announced the loss of up to 290 jobs and the closure of about 60 stores across France. The company, which employs 2 000 staff in France, will begin the restructuring in the second half of 2026, with the process expected to conclude by the end of the year. The cuts are part of a broader effort to streamline Okaïdi’s French network in response to a deteriorating market environment, lower birth rates, rising consumer price pressure, the rise of second-hand shopping and competition from ultra-fast fashion.
