Description

Diehl Controls Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the German Diehl Group, which designs and manufactures electronic control components for household appliances is reducing employment by approximately 150–200 positions out of around 900 at its plant in Namysłów, with the plan to be implemented in monthly stages until the end of 2026.

The restructuring is linked to challenging conditions in the European household-appliance supply chain and competition from cheaper products, mainly from China. Union representatives also point to higher energy and environmental compliance costs in Europe.

The workforce reduction is negotiated with the union NSZZ Solidarność.
