European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ID Logistics, Amazon's service provider specialised in logistical solutions for e-commerce, is set to create between 400 jobs at their new 62 000 m² logistics warehouse at Saint-Léger-près-Troyes (Aube). The majority of posts are for order pickers.
In order to implement this recruitment plan, the company has partnered with the national employment agency, France Travail. The latter has set up an online, simulation-based employment method through exercises, requiring no curriculum vitae. Additionally, six information briefings are also planned, half dedicated to individuals with no prior experience in logistics.
The expansion targets the company’s freight-handling and order-preparation operations, bolstering its network across the Paris-Southeast corridor. The move aligns with Amazon’s strategy to shorten delivery times and absorb the growing volume of online orders in the region.
This expansion comes following the announcement of the creation of 1,500 jobs in France: ID Logistic 2026 - FR.
