European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Telus Digital, a Canadian telecommunications subsidiary, announced the collective dismissal of 300 employees in Romania, affecting a major digital project, with staff slated to leave between July and October 2026.
The restructuring stems from the client’s request to shut down the project, driven by commercial considerations. Telus International, the parent company, employs about 75 000 people worldwide and operates in 30 countries, but the Romanian workforce reduction is specific to the Telus Digital unit.
