Description

ABB, a multinational engineering company, announced the creation of around 100 new jobs at its factory in Skien, Norway. The new positions will be created by the end of 2026. The expansion focuses on the production of medium-voltage equipment for the power grid, supporting the rapid electrification and growth of data centres, and the integration of renewable energy.

The investment is part of a broader €200-million European plan that includes sites in Norway, Poland, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria and Finland.
