Description
Valamar Riviera, a Croatian hospitality and tourism group, has announced the opening of the Pical Resort 5* in Poreč, Istria, scheduled for spring and summer 2026. The investment is expected to create over 800 new jobs, including managerial, hospitality, wellness and operational positions
The resort will operate year-round, supporting the company’s strategy to reduce seasonal dependence and strengthen high-end tourism in the region. Recruitment activities have already started, while employees are being offered accommodation support, training programmes and long-term employment schemes aimed at improving workforce retention and service quality.
The investment, valued at more than EUR 200 million, is one of the largest tourism projects currently under development in Croatia.
