Description
Datalogic announced the construction of a new production facility in the industrial zone Sereď - Juh in Slovakia. The investment is expected to create approximately 100 new jobs. The recruitment will take place gradually, beginning this year and will be completed by the end of 2030.
Datalogic officially began the construction of their new plant in April 2026, while production operations are expected to begin later in 2026. Recruitment is expected to begin alongside the launch of production operations in the second half of 2026. The project forms part of the company’s broader expansion in industrial automation, scanning technologies, sensors, and data-capture systems, and has also received Slovak government investment support.
