European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Mondi Corrugated Poland, the Polish subsidiary of a Duch producer of corrugated board and cardboard packaging, announced the closure of its plant in Brzeźno, gmina Dorohusk, in eastern Poland, affecting 166 employees at the site.
The company informed the public employment office in Chełm that the plant would cease operations by the end of September 2026 as part of a wider footprint reduction. The company stated that severance and support measures would be introduced for the affected workforce and that the redundancy process would be carried out in cooperation with the public employment office. Mondi’s trading update confirmed the closure of a Corrugated Solutions plant in Poland as part of a broader restructuring of its production footprint.
