European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Terveystalo, a Finnish healthcare service provider, announced plans to reduce up to 110 positions as part of its ongoing restructuring of the healthcare services business area. The company highlighted a prolonged weak market and financial pressure on demand, necessitating cost-control measures and the streamlining of operations. Cooperation negotiations have begun, and can, according to Finnish standards, last around six weeks. The employer also considers implementing temporary layoffs that would mainly affect employees with administrative tasks.
