European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Elt Group, an Italian leader in defence electronics, announced the opening of a new research and innovation hub in Bari, expected to create around one hundred highly skilled positions by the end of 2026. The new centre will focus on space, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, strengthening the region’s industrial ecosystem and fostering collaborations with universities, startups, and SMEs. All new jobs will be based in Bari. The expansion reflects the company’s commitment to advancing digital capabilities and supporting Italy’s high-value technological sector.
