Description

Inetum España, a Spanish technology consultancy and part of the Inetum group, has announced an Employment Restructuring File (ERE) that will affect up to 425 employees, roughly 6 percent of its workforce in Spain, approximately 6,500 employees.

The ERE targets technical staff within Inetum España S.A. The company reports having 6,500 employees in Spain prior to the cuts. While the exact split between direct dismissals and other measures is not disclosed, Trade unions have proposed voluntary severance and early retirement options, and a robust outplacement plan.

Updated, 01/06/2026 Inetum has reached an agreement with employee representatives to conclude its Employment Redundancy File (ERE) in Spain, reducing the number of affected employees to 404, around 10% fewer than initially proposed. The redundancies are scheduled to be completed by 30 September. Under the terms agreed, employees with contracts signed before 12 February 2012 will receive compensation equivalent to 45 days’ salary per year of service, while those hired thereafter will receive 33 days per year. A guaranteed minimum indemnity of €10,000 has also been established, in line with compensation for unfair dismissal. The agreement incorporates a voluntary departure scheme incentivised with a gross bonus of €10,000, with applications open between 2 and 5 June. Certain groups are excluded from the ERE, including employees over 50, workers with disabilities of 33% or more, single-parent families, those with reduced working hours due to childcare responsibilities, and victims of gender-based violence or terrorism.
