Description

Steinpol, a Polish furniture manufacturer, announced the closure of its upholstered-furniture factory in Wołowo, resulting in 110 job losses. The plant, operating since 2016, will cease production by 30 April 2026.

The shutdown stems from economic pressures, including rising energy and raw-material costs, intensified competition, and broader downturns in the Polish furniture sector. All affected employees are based in Wołowo in the Lower Silesian region. The company’s workforce, which previously employed 110 staff at the Wołowo site, will be made redundant.
