Description

Enercon, a German wind-turbine manufacturer, announced the creation of 150 new jobs at its Magdeburg-Rothensee facility. The expansion will increase local employment from about 710 to 860 workers. The new plant will assemble a seven-megawatt turbine, one of the most powerful in Europe, in response to continued high demand for wind energy. The project is driven by the green transition, as the company seeks to expand its renewable-energy portfolio and strengthen the local economy.
