Description
In 2019, Telesteps, a Swedish company that specializes in telescopic ladders featuring patented triangular aluminum profiles, began relocating its production from China to Sweden. With an investment of half a million, the company set up a fully automated production line in Sweden, completing the move in 2022 and starting large-scale production of telescopic ladders. The strategic shift aimed to improve flexibility, control, and reduce long-term production costs compared to the previous operations in China. Telesteps embraced an environmentally conscious approach by working with suppliers within a five-mile radius of the newly constructed factory. Also it gained better control over production planning, leading to more seamless deliveries.
