The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Kaptein Sabeltann AS has relocated the production of its pirate swords for children from China to Porsgrunn, Norway. The production is undertaken by the company Grepi Plast AS, which will produce over 15,000 swords per year. The move was driven by environmental considerations and proximity to the home market.
