Description
In March 2020, Trend Group, a Vicenza-based company founded in 2000, announced the redevelopment of its production plant in Vivaro (Pordenone), Italy reshoring back, especially from Asia, a significant part of its production activities previously delocalized. The plant, covering 47,000 m², is set to be the largest mosaic plant in Europe and the world's first for gold mosaic production, with a capacity of 200,000 m² by the end of 2021. The restructuring involves installing production lines for gold leaf mosaic and vitreous enamels, as well as introducing innovative robotic automation. The revitalized Vivaro factory is expected to generate a turnover of over €5 million annually, with plans to triple volumes, create over 50 direct jobs, and provide spin-offs for local industries.
