Didactic, established in 1967 and based in Le Havre, specializes in creating, producing, and selling medical devices for hospitals and clinics. The company decided to relocate the manufacturing of infusers, essential medical equipment, from Asia to France in 2020 receiving the support of the French State and the Normandy region. The manufacturing plant is expected to start production in 2024. The project aims to decrease the carbon footprint of the product and will create around forty permanent jobs in the Normandy region. The initiative aligns with ecological ambitions of the company and promotion of local supply chains.
