European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Liftroller AS in 2019 decided to relocate the production of his innovative construction lift system from Poland to Osterøy in Hordaland, Norway after realizing that it could achieve similar production costs in Norway compared to Poland. The decision is driven by the desire to be closer to the production process. The production is now handled by K. Lerøy Metallindustri in Osterøy that utilizes automation through robots. The product is sold in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, and the company aims to produce up to 400 lift systems in in 2020, potentially creating ten new jobs at the Osterøy facility.
