Ledger, a startup founded in 2015 specializing in securing blockchain and cryptocurrency transactions based in Paris, in 2019 relocated the manufacturing of its specialized high-tech devices designed for securing cryptocurrencies from China to a new facility in Vierzon, Cher in France. The company had established small workshops in Vierzon, but it had to resort to producing its high-tech devices in China to meet demand. Then Ledger invested approximately €10 million in constructing the new facility anticipating the creation of about a hundred additional jobs within the following three years. The new production site was part of Ledger's strategy to maintain control over the entire production chain, ensuring high-quality standards and flexibility for clients. The company aimed consolidate its operations in the new facility.
