European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Capgemini, a global IT and consulting firm, announced 115 job cuts in Sweden, affecting its Swedish workforce of about 4,000 employees. The reduction is driven by the rapid evolution of AI and changing customer behaviour, prompting the company to adapt its services and streamline operations. The layoffs will affect positions all over Sweden.
In total, Capgemini has about 4,000 employees in the country, spread over 23 offices.
