Description
Krëfel, a Belgian household electronics retail chain, announced plans to cut up to 180 jobs following the closure of five unprofitable stores. The first dismissals will begin in the second quarter of 2026.
The stores are located in Izegem, Schoten, Oudenaarde, Oostakker and Borgworm. The restructuring also includes a reorganisation of its headquarters and logistics hub in Humbeek, Grimbergen. The restructuring is driven by a prolonged and precarious financial situation, marked by intense competition and low margins in the electronics retail market.
