Description
Safran Aircraft Engines, a French aerospace engine manufacturer, announced the creation of around 220 new jobs at its Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels maintenance site, located in the Brussels Airport zone in Belgium. The job creation is linked to the construction of a new engine module maintenance facility, which will expand the site’s maintenance, repair and overhaul activities. The new jobs will be created as part of the extension project, which is scheduled to be operational by mid-2027, with recruitment already underway and continuing up to that date.
The project also reflects the company’s focus on advanced industrial performance, digitalisation and automation, with the new facility featuring advanced automation technologies, predictive maintenance capabilities and Industry 4.0 solutions, alongside low-carbon and sustainable infrastructure.
The 220 new jobs will be created at the Brussels Airport site, increasing the total workforce there to around 570 employees.
