Description
Thales, a French high technology group active in defence, aerospace, and cyber and digital technologies, announced plans to recruit 140 employees in Poland in 2026 as part of a global hiring programme of more than 9,000 new employees worldwide (Thales 2026 – WO). The recruitment mainly concerns engineering and technical roles.
The hiring initiative is intended to support the group’s continued expansion across its core business areas, in a context of sustained demand for advanced defence, aerospace and digital solutions, including rising defence expenditure. The expansion is linked to long term investment in high technologies such as software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data related activities. At group level, around 40% of the new roles are expected to be in engineering functions, while approximately 25% will be in industrial roles, including technicians, operators and engineers.
Thales operates in 68 countries and employs around 83,000 people worldwide, including over 1,200 in Poland.
