Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Enedis, the French public electricity distribution network operator, is launching a major recruitment campaign for 2026 with 1,700 permanent (CDI) hires. The new job positions will be distributed as follows: 1,250 positions in operational technical roles, including 700 senior technicians, 550 electrotechnicians; 300 positions for engineers and IT experts; and 150 roles in customer relations and support functions.
Recruitment will take place across all regions of metropolitan France, with priority given to Île-de-France, Pays de la Loire, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, and Hauts-de-France.
Moreover, Enedis plans to create 1,400 work-study contracts (alternance), 85% of whom will be in operational technical and IT roles.
The previous mention of Enedis in the ERM Events databe was a business expansion in 2025, in which the company planned to hire 2,000 new employees. Enedis 2025 - FR
