Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Cancom, a German company in the IT services sector, announced the creation of up to 100 jobs at its new logistics and service centre in Norderstedt (Schleswig-Holstein).
The new positions will be in areas such as logistics, service, and IT and are being created as part of the construction of a new service factory, which is scheduled to begin operations in the third quarter of 2026.
The job creation is driven by rising demand for IT lifecycle services and aims to expand capacity and improve delivery and service times for customers in northern Germany. The new jobs are being created in connection with the development of the new location in the greater metropolitan area of Hamburg.
CANCOM is a German IT service provider with approximately 5,600 employees worldwide.
