Description

As announced on 24 February 2026, private bank Donner & Reuschel, a subsidiary of Signal Iduna, plans to cut 70 of its 570 positions over the next three to four years.

The institution is digesting a double‑digit million‑euro loss triggered by bad loans. As a result, the bank is discontinuing three of its six business segments. The company intends to invest in digitalisation and process optimisation in order to achieve long‑term efficiency.

Donner & Reuschel has locations in Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart.
