Description

The Unicorn Factory has launched the Engineers Hub, a new innovation centre in Lisbon, bringing together 10 start-ups with the aim of creating around 200 engineering jobs over the next six months. The initiative, developed in partnership with the Southern Region of the Order of Engineers, has already secured €12 million in funding.

The hub seeks to bridge the gap between universities and industry. The initiative aims to foster digitalisation and technological innovation across areas such as defence, infrastructure, cybersecurity, energy and industrial digitalisation, while also contributing to talent retention and the growth of technology-based companies in Portugal.
