Description
Bayer Construct Zrt., a Hungarian-owned corporate group operating in the construction and real-estate development sector, announced the creation of 200 new jobs at its newly opened bathroom assembly plant in Sóskút. The company’s facilities, including a geothermal small power plant in Sóskút and Tököl, support the expansion of its production capacity for 30 000–40 000 apartments annually. The expansion is driven by a commitment to green energy, with the geothermal project aiming to supply the group’s entire energy demand from renewable sources, thereby reducing its environmental footprint. The new positions are concentrated in the Sóskút manufacturing complex, with no relocation or outsourcing planned. Social partners were not mentioned in the announcement. No end date for the job creation phase is specified.
